poetry corner 006 – stoopid poetry 01

Swallow your pride
Knot your virtue
Simmer in the shallows

I am but hidden, awakened in the twilight of you

Impressed upon the rope that swings the gallows

Linger long enough to pull me through

Scorpions have venomous tails, and claws
What need have they for tears

If I knew your combination
Waylay to your fears

Transgressions
Of which there are many
Offenses
Of which there are plenty
Compliments
Of which there are few
Few
Are complimentary
Supplements
Added for fun
To ease the cessations of a quieting mind

Always one omitted entry
Eternally
Yours, yours to find
