poetry corner 034 – Homespun.

In my village there is a saying:


I doubt myself. I doubt myself.
As if I were a lie.

I question my foundations.
Like a shanty town.

I might as well. I wish, I wish.
No one else will. I can, I can.

I visit with my faults.
More often than my grandparents did.

I am


And the saying goes…
